Top 3 Overall  male and female
Top 3 in 5 year age groups (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over)
Team Challenge:  Top Overall Team ($150) and Team with most participants ($100).  Top 2 males and top 2 females from each team will be scored.

Race Itinerary

Friday April 17  – Packet Pickup and Late Registration (cash only)
5-6:30 pm at Battery Park
Race Directors available to answer any  questions.

Saturday April 18 – Race Day
7:00am Transition Area opens
7:00-8:00 Late packet pick up, Late registration (Cash Only)
8:15 Mandatory race meeting and transition area closes
8:30 1st wave – All males
8:32 2nd wave – All Females

Start on Clinton St next to Battery Park
Make Left onto Brick path along Canal St
Left onto 5th st (Rt 9) over grate bridge
Turn Left onto New Castle Rd (into Governor Bacon)
Turn Right onto Delaware Ave
Turn Right onto Wilmington Ave
Turn Left on Sussex Ave
Follow Sussex to parking lot- loop around entire parking lot
Turn Right onto New Castle Ave
Turn Right back out to 5th st (Rt 9) – over grate bridge and back along Canal St.

Exit Transition on Clinton Street
Turn Left onto 5th St – Cross Ready Point Bridge
Turn Right onto Thorntown Road
Turn Left onto Port Penn Road
Turn Right onto St Augustine Road
Turn around at intersection of Bayview Road
Return to transition via same route

2nd 5k run
Same course as previous mentioned except for run starts as you exit transition and continues to finish line.

Miscellaneous Information

Race management reserves the right to accept or reject any entry. There is NO rain date.  This is a rain or shine event.  In the case of inclement weather, management reserves the right to alter or modify the race or course for safety concerns. In the case of a Natural Disaster, Local Incident, Terrorist Act, or Act of God, there will be No Refunds of race entry fees. Athletes must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. Monies for charitable organizations we support have already been pledged, and monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event. Any decision we make to go forth with the race is based on the overall event/race course safety, in accord with local risk management, police, fire and rescue, and medical team.
